Veneers

If your teeth are healthy, but they are not as bright as you would like, then veneers are a great option.

Veneers are thin pieces of porcelain that are bonded to the surface of your teeth to mask imperfections by changing the color, size, or shape of your teeth. Veneers look and feel like your natural teeth and they effectively improve your smile. Additionally, porcelain veneers resist stains so that it is easy to maintain their brightness with good oral hygiene.

Some teeth do not respond well to traditional whitening procedures. Likewise, veneers are effective in disguising minor chips or broken teeth to make your smile look like new. If this describes your teeth, then veneers might be the right option for you.

To place veneers on your teeth, approximately half of a millimeter of the surface of your tooth must be removed. Little to no anesthesia is necessary for this procedure, but we will make sure that you are comfortable and relaxed through the entire procedure. Afterward, we take a mold of your teeth and create veneers that are custom designed to fit right over your teeth.

We use a special cement to bond the veneers to the surface of the teeth. You can also choose how white or bright you want your smile to be before bonding the veneers. Brush and floss your teeth as normal to keep them sparkling. They are durable and will not affect your normal activities. With proper care, you can expect your veneers to last up to a decade.
